Claude now has the option to select writing styles, right inside the Claude interface. You have pre-defined styles including normal, concise, explanatory and formal — but the best thing here is that you can create your own custom styles very easily. You just need to upload some samples of your writing (text files, PDFs, etc) and it will create a style around it.
Why it matters Teaching chatbots to write like you is nothing new, but the ease with which you can create, access and manage these styles right inside Claude is super convenient. Definitely going to be using this one.

DARIO’S PICKS
OpenAI’s video model Sora is still under wraps, but yesterday, a group of artists that were beta testing it unleashed early access for everyone on Hugging Face. That lasted for a good 3 hours before OpenAI shut it down.
The artists claim, in their open letter, that they were promised to be red teamers and creative partners but, as it turns out, have instead been exploited as “free bug testers, PR puppets, training data, validation tokens” and that “artists are not your unpaid R&D”.
When confronted with the lead by The Verge, OpenAI didn’t confirm it but emphasized that participation in the Sora research preview is voluntary, with no obligation to provide feedback or use the tool. They also stated they’ve been excited to grant these artists free access and “will continue supporting them through grants, events, and other programs”
Why it matters Heyy, more people got a first look at Sora!
My 2 cents about the drama. Sure, fair compensation for AI training data needs sorting out (be it text, video, image, sound, whatever), and we'll need new business models to keep the creative ecosystem healthy. But turning beta testing—indeed, voluntary access to free tech—into a victim narrative? Doesn’t make much sense to me.
THAT’S ALL FOLKS!
